How to get the BEST Adjustments!

PREPARE YOUR BODY – Relax!

Please lie down prior to your adjustment and relax. The headrest is raised to assist with your neck curve and lying down reduces the gravitational effects on your posture and gets you ready for your adjustment.

ADJUSTMENT FOCUS & SOMETHING TO DISCUSS

So that Dr Richard can give you the best adjustment possible he needs to be solely focused on your adjustment. If you have something special you would like to discuss with Dr Richard like a special report, images or new traumas please contact us ahead of time via email or talk to Angela when you arrive. We can schedule a call with Dr Richard or a special consultation. Dr Richard will be unable to do during your adjustment time.

CLOTHING

Please take off any bulky clothing like jumpers, especially with hoods or anything thick around the collar prior to your adjustment.

Failed Payment – 3 STRIKE RULE

It is your payment that allows us to continue providing high levels of professional care, maintain our facility, and to compensate our team. Failed payments make this difficult to manage. Therefore we have implemented the following policies regarding failed payments.

Care Program

If you have 3 failed payments within a care program we will be forced to suspend your care program for 3 months. You can still come in for Patch-up Care.

Patch-up Care

Patients who are not on a care program in our office are instead on Patch-up Care or Pay-as-you-go care. This also includes anyone who has recently been suspended from a care program. If you would like to discuss how you can achieve optimal health through our care programs please contact us.

Care Program – 3 STRIKE RULE

Your compliance to the doctor’s recommended care plan is a key determining factor to the success of your case. Rhythm is critical in maximising the effectiveness of the adjustments.

Your compliance to your outlined schedule of care is also the most obvious indicator of your commitment to your chiropractic care. Without your complete commitment, we can not achieve the best outcome in your care.

Our team is completely committed to a successful process and outcome for you, therefore we will diligently support the maintenance of your adjustment schedule and outlined care plan.

If at any point in your care you need to reschedule an office visit, our team will work to reschedule you for the same day. If that is not possible, all efforts will be made to schedule you the next day.

ANY AND ALL SCHEDULED OFFICE VISITS THAT ARE MISSED
MUST BE MADE UP WITHIN YOUR SCHEDULED CARE PROGRAM.

If the doctor’s recommendations are that you are to be checked 3 times a week, then you  must be checked 3 times that week. Make-up appointments may be done the next day (preferably), or added to the next week.These make-up appointments MUST be done within your scheduled care program.

If 3 appointments are missed and are not “made-up”, we can only interpret this to mean that your commitment to your care has changed, and your care program will be suspended.

We only want the best for our patients. We are completely committed to you and your health. Please recognize that adherence to your care plan is critical and address it as such.

New Patient Booking Policy

To confirm your Total Health Evaluation you must pre-pay for your appointment. You can do so online here (scroll down). 

If we have not received pre-payment we will contact you. If we still have not received pre-payment at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time we will cancel your appointment.

Reschedule / Cancel

As soon as you know that you will not be able to make your appointment, please reschedule it. Your early reschedule will give another patient the possibility to have access to timely care. If you need to reschedule your initial appointment, you may do so up to 12 hours prior to your appointment time.

You can reschedule appointments online here or call our office in business hours. 

If you cancel your initial appointment, or fail to attend the initial appointment without any notice, you will be billed a missed appointment fee to the same amount.

If you fail to attend two consecutive initial appointments, access to our practice will be suspended for 3 months.

Exceptions

We understand that there may be extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending your appointment or giving us sufficient notice of cancellation. If this is the case, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the situation.

Agreement

By scheduling a Total Health Evaluation with us, you agree to abide by our new patient booking policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us to provide the best service to all of our clients.

Patch-Up Care Missed Appointment Policy

Our Policy

At Miracle Life Chiropractic, we understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances arise and appointments may need to be rescheduled or cancelled. As soon as you know that you will not be able to make your appointment, please reschedule it. Your early reschedule will give another patient the possibility to have access to timely care. 

You can reschedule appointments online here or call our office in business hours. 

In one calendar year, if you miss an appointment or reschedule / cancel less than 1 hour before the appointment:

  • For the first time, you will be issued a warning and reminded that you need to reschedule at least 1 hour in advance. 
  • For the second time, you will be automatically charged a $50 missed appointment fee.
  • For the third time, you will be automatically charged the full amount of your scheduled appointment as a missed appointment fee. 
  • For the fourth time, you will be suspended from our practice for 3 months.

*Please note any missed appointment fees can NOT be claimed from private health; therefore, you are responsible for the full payment.

Care Program Policies

Appointments:

Missed appointments must be made up before the end of your program. If you don’t you will be billed a missed appointment fee. All missed appointment fees are unable to be claimed from private health. Please also refer to our 3-strike policy in regards to missed appointments.

If you require extra adjustments, feel free to book this in online (or otherwise). The fee will be your care program discounted rate. If you need a lot of these it probably means we have you on the wrong care program so we will talk to you about that.

Holidays:

Remember your compliance to the doctor’s recommended care plan is a key determining factor to the success of your case. Rhythm is critical in maximising the effectiveness of the adjustments.

If you will be away and unable to attend your regular appointment please reschedule ALL appointments yourself online here. This will ensure your care program rhythm is maintained.  

If you are unable to do this, for example you are on a corrective program or your holiday is for over 2 weeks, please contact us in writing via email. That way we can extend your care program to ensure you get the correct amount of adjustments. 

Statements:

Statements are issued monthly so you can claim back from your private health fund. The dates on your statement will match the dates of your visits which may differ from payments.

Workshops:

Workshops are included free of charge for all patients on care programs. You are also welcome to bring any members of your immediate family to these workshops. 

Failed payments:

If you have 3 failed payments within a care program we will be forced to suspend your care for 3 months.

Cancel Care Program:

If at anytime you want to stop your care program, just let us know and we’ll stop it within 7 days. There is never any lock-in – we only want you here because this is where you want to be. Please advise us in writing – by email is best info@miraclelifechiropractic.com.au. 

If you have any outstanding fees overdue at that time, they will be payable. Any unused credit can be refunded back to you. 

All future appointments will be cancelled at this time. If you have missed an appointment you will no longer be able to make this up after cancellation.
