Patch-Up Care Missed Appointment Policy

Patients who are not on a care program in our office are instead on Patch-Up Care or Pay-as-you-go care. This also includes anyone who has recently been suspended from a care program. If you would like to discuss how you can achieve optimal health through our care programs please contact us.

Our Policy

At Miracle Life Chiropractic, we understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances arise and appointments may need to be rescheduled or cancelled. As soon as you know that you will not be able to make your appointment, please reschedule it. Your early reschedule will give another patient the possibility to have access to timely care. 

You can reschedule appointments online here or call our office in business hours. 

In one calendar year, if you miss an appointment or reschedule / cancel less than 1 hour before the appointment:

  • For the first time, you will be issued a warning and reminded that you need to reschedule at least 1 hour in advance. 
  • For the second time, you will be automatically charged a $50 missed appointment fee.
  • For the third time, you will be automatically charged the full amount of your scheduled appointment as a missed appointment fee. 
  • For the fourth time, you will be suspended from our practice for 3 months.

*Please note any missed appointment fees can NOT be claimed from private health; therefore, you are responsible for the full payment.

Exceptions

We understand that there may be extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending your appointment or giving us sufficient notice of cancellation. If this is the case, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the situation.

Agreement

By scheduling an appointment with us, you agree to abide by our missed appointment policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us to provide the best service to all of our clients.
