Frequently Asked Questions
When Should I Consider Seeing A Chiropractor And What Exactly Do They Do?
Consider seeing Miracle Life Chiropractic if you’re dealing with persistent pain, stiffness, reduced movement, recurring post-activity aches, disrupted sleep from discomfort, or slow recovery after injury. We also support those looking to optimise movement and performance, pregnant or paediatric clients seeking gentle care, and anyone wanting to prevent problems from returning if something feels off, an assessment will clarify whether chiropractic care can help.
At Miracle Life Chiropractic we assess and treat the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system using hands-on adjustments and a range of gentle, evidence-informed techniques (like all treatments, chiropractic care can have side effects, which we discuss with you before care starts) combined with practical advice on movement, posture, exercise, and lifestyle. Your care is personalised: we build a treatment plan around your goals and the initial assessment, first restoring comfortable movement and then improving function and resilience so you stay well long after the initial episode.
Is Chiropractic Care The Solution I’ve Been Searching For?
Experiencing back pain, headaches, or persistent muscle stiffness? At Miracle Life Chiropractic, chiropractic care is a great place to begin your recovery. Our practitioners have substantial experience in assessing and treating muscle and joint problems with hands‑on adjustments and tailored movement strategies to reduce pain and restore function.
We take a whole‑person approach, considering factors like posture, activity, sleep, exercise, and nutrition alongside manual care to help you feel your best.
Do I Need a Referral to See a Chiropractor?
No referral is needed to book an appointment at Miracle Life Chiropractic. We do accept GP Chronic Condition Management Plans (GPCCMP, formerly CDM/EPC) – see our Medicare page for how the rebate works.
Is Chiropractic Covered By Private Insurance?
Chiropractic consultations are claimable with most health funds’ extras cover; the amount depends on your fund and level of cover.
We do not have an in-office claiming service. Insurance statements are emailed automatically every month that you can take to your private health provider to claim either online, or via their respective phone application.
What’s That “Popping” Sound I Hear During A Chiropractic Adjustment?
That “popping” sound is the same thing that happens when you crack your knuckles: gas bubbles in the joint fluid rapidly release as pressure changes inside the joint. Many joints can make this noise, it’s a normal part of an adjustment, and it usually doesn’t cause discomfort. Joints can also become noisier with age, producing grinding, cracking, or popping sounds called crepitus; crepitus alone is typically harmless
