About Miracle Life Chiropractic
A chiropractic practice in Brendale, North Brisbane, run by Dr Richard Sawyer (Chiropractor) since our rooms opened in June 2023, with a small team who will know your name by the second visit.
How we think
Nobody heals a cut. Nobody knits a broken bone on purpose. The body is constantly working to keep itself going, and our job is not to do that for it.
Our job is to find what might be getting in the way of comfortable movement: joints that have stopped moving well, muscles that are guarding, habits the body has adapted to. Then we work on those, and we measure as we go rather than guess.
That is why a first visit here is mostly listening and looking, and why the plan we suggest always has two halves: what we do in the room, and what you do at home.

Richard grew up in a family with a strong interest in health, learned early about nutrition and exercise, then became interested in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Some years living in Japan settled the question of what kind of practitioner he wanted to be. He has practised as a chiropractor for more than thirty years.
The rooms
- An open-plan adjusting room: regular visits take about fifteen minutes, alongside other practice members.
- On-site X-ray, used only when it is clinically indicated.
- Suite 6, 23 Doherty Street, Brendale. Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7am to 7pm.
Like all treatments, chiropractic care can have side effects; the common ones are mild and short-lived, such as soreness after an adjustment. We discuss this with you before care starts.
